This workshop will use the Yoga Wall to explore movement and alignment in the chest and hips. Using the wall straps and bars we will find ways to support the body and learn to cultivate strength, mobility, and stability in the hips without straining and producing tension and stiffness. Building on this stability we’ll perform postures to reduce tension and increase movement in the shoulders, thoracic spine, and neck. No yoga or wall experience is needed for this class.
This workshop is led by physical therapist/yoga instructor Alison Aiken, PT, DPT, CYT with specific advanced training on using the Yoga Wall.
