Substitute Yoga Teacher
Our yoga community varies in age and ability – we primarily offer gentle to moderate and therapeutic yoga-wall classes, and a variety of educational workshops & series. Many of our students come from PT to the studio and are working to improve their physical pain or health, so it’s important that teachers are able to modify and adapt postures in safe ways. You don’t have to be an anatomy whiz – just a teacher that understands how to safely move people into and out of poses, and how to adapt and modify. We offer a variety of regular Vinyasa classes that are moderate to vigorous paced. We love these classes and are looking for teachers that can safely & creatively challenge students. If you’re aligned with Evolution, we’d love to get a taste for your yoga offering and better get to know you.
What’s the role of a sub at Evolution? The role of a sub is to support our current teaching staff as needed. It’s important to note that we prefer to hire teachers from our sub list and we look to hire subs that regularly step up to help, as well as take time to connect with and integrate in our community. Of course experience, personality, & other factors play into these decisions. We require subs to teach two classes per semester (Fall, Winter/Spring/Summer) to maintain our sub list. Let me know if you have any questions.
How do I become a substitute teacher or regular teacher at Evolution?
