The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year, and is a celebration of the light that is always present, even on the darkest of days. At the mid-point of the year, solstice is also a time for celebrating the nature of both abundance and impermanence, as the change of seasons is a perfect reminder of the ebb and flow of change.
This solstice, Rachel will be teaching a special practice on the dock at the Community Sailing Center. Class will be held from 7:00 -8:15 pm, and students are invited to stay after class to connect with each other, and to watch the sunset over the lake.
