Building on the foundation set out in the first workshop in this series, you will expand your knowledge of yoga postures and techniques to improve flexibility and stability in the middle and upper back, neck, shoulders, and chest. Class will include some basic anatomy and instruction moving into and out of poses, guided breathwork to support you in postures and techniques to reduce unwanted tension between the shoulder blades and the base of the skull.
Whether you find yourself sitting with tension and stiffness in your back and neck throughout the day or are seeking ways to expand upon your current yoga practice, this workshop is for you!
Previous yoga experience is suggested. Inversions, arm balances and adaptations will be offered with support of the yoga wall and additional props.
