Prana, commonly referred to as our breath is much more than that.  It is the life force the pervades and fills the consciousness with layers of meaning and understanding.  Prana is the underlying cause of movement in and around us.  Everything in essence is vibrating movement.  The way we breathe and move, the way plants grow, the way the universes swirls are all examples of the movement of Prana. And, every aspect of yoga practice: asana, pranayama, bandha, chakra and chanting is created by these movements.

Join us as we explore the 5 movements of Prana call the Pancha Vayus and see which direction the winds of Prana blow for you in the each of the yoga poses. The class includes handouts, lecture/discussion and a rewarding practice to illustrate the movements of prana, apana, samana, vyana and udana Prana within and without the postures.
