In 2010, it was estimated that osteoporosis and low bone mass affected 53.6 million adults in the U.S., with women making up the largest percentage of this group. Andrea will discuss how vulnerable the spine is during certain activities, and how you may putting your spine, hips and wrists at risk. A bit of knowledge and guidance can help everyone improve their chances of avoiding fractures, falls, and building stronger bones. Yoga poses and modifications will be reviewed.
