The kidneys, the organ of winter, are known to be the source for the quality of our energy. In this four week series, we will target the kidney meridian, or energy channel, to support the health and function of the kidneys along with their corresponding yang organ, the bladder.

Nature rests in winter–deep rest, through which the new roots, shoots, and energy for Spring arises. This yin practice encourages us to rest in outer stillness. It also encourages us to be with ourselves just as we are. Through intentional connection to the most yin season of the year, Winter, and intimate connection to ourselves we increase the healthy flow of our energy and our willingness to engage in life.
