This five-week series is an introduction to pilates, and is taught in a deeply therapeutic way. It is appropriate for those desiring to gain core strength, address postural issues, recover from injury, and/or those who simply want to learn to do pilates mindfully. The exercises will be carefully broken down and modifications will be explored and provided for those with physical limitations or issues. As we progress, we will begin to string the individual exercises together, into a flowing sequence of movement coordinated with the breath.
