Are you ready to get upside down? Then don’t miss this handstand play date! This workshop is for those looking to refine their handstand practice and gain more control in their yoga practice overall. If you are comfortable kicking up into a handstand against the wall and want to work toward balancing in the middle of the room, then this is your workshop.
We’ll start by learning intelligent and specific alignment cues during our warm up flow so that when we go upside down, we know how to stabilize and engage the body’s midsection in order to find more strength, freedom and balance on our hands. We’ll learn different ways to kick up, look at handstand transitions and even dabble in fun variations like press ups! We’ll end with a long, sweet savasana.
