The Going Deeper Continuing Education Workshop Series with John McConnell is for students and yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding of the yoga practice.
Ever avoid certain poses in your own home practice? Have you ever felt nervous about teaching more advanced postures? This workshop series will focus on good practice techniques and effective teaching methodologies to help you find more ease in your personal practice and your teaching.
Each session, in addition to its main focus, will also include appropriate philosophy and pranayama teachings.
Session One – Going Deeper: Arm Balances
Explore a variety of arm balances and creative ways to get into and teach even the most elusive of these postures. We’ll work as a community to get into some of the most popular arm balance postures, and learn how to align the body to make the postures safe for our selves and our students.
Be ready to tap into your limitless potential, to laugh, have fun, and learn, and feel the support and encouragement of John and other students in the class. This is your chance to find lift-off with these fun, challenging, and invigorating postures.
