Do you enjoy paddle boarding or want to learn how? Do you love yoga and want to improve your poses? Come and try yoga on a paddleboard!

We will warm up on land with yoga poses you can do on the water. Following a short lesson on paddleboarding, we will together try some of the level-one poses on the paddleboard. You will find that some of even the most basic poses require a keen sense of “mid-line” and balance. Then, with your handy waterproof list of poses you are free to practice on your own, feeling the freedom of your practice on the water.

The class takes place at the Community Sailing Center of Burlington just north of the Coast Guard station and the fishing pier on the waterfront. Let us know if you want to bring your own board – you must have a PFD (life vest).

Expect to get wet! Have warm clothing to change into and optional, wear water shoes for better traction. A yoga mat will be useful for the land portion of the class.
