This six-week series will explore the Chakras in a physical yoga practice. Finding balance in the chakras can help you find better balance in all aspects of your life!
The chakras are wheels of energy within the body that correspond with massive nerve centers along the spine. They are often associated with psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of life. Being grounded, feeling open-hearted, and speaking your mind are all connected to your strengths in a particular chakra. When all of your chakras are aligned and open, going through life feels a little bit like hitting all of the green lights as you drive through a city.
We will discuss the seven main chakras, learn their locations and characteristics, and then do a physical yoga practice that accentuates the experience of that chakra in the body.
Come to class prepared to move. Some yoga experience required.
