The Whirling Dervishes have a nice mudra in their devotional dance: Left palm up to the heavens to receive the divine; right palm down to transmit that divinity to earth. The dancer is a conduit for the divine. The Sufis are super Anusara (or maybe the other way around ;-)

Can you tell us more about the chin mudra? I&#039;ve heard that the open fingers bring energy in from the world and the enclosed fingers keep that energy in the body. I&#039;ve also heard that the open fingers create a highway for toxins to leave the body and the encircled fingers trap the good stuff in. Any thoughts on these?

Can you recommend a good mudra book?
